Privacy

Browsing. The template directory needs no account. We collect aggregate visit statistics via Plausible Analytics (page, referrer, browser, device type, country); Plausible sets no cookies and keeps no persistent identifier. Free browser exports render on your device; nothing you type or upload there leaves it.

Your account. Signing in stores your email address, the time you signed in and a session cookie (mm_session, 90 days). There is no password. Login links expire in 15 minutes and work once.

Memes you ask for. A prompt-to-meme job stores your prompt, the links and files you attach, the plan and quote, the agent's progress log, the finished files and a saved copy of the project so you can ask for changes later. Files live in a private DigitalOcean Spaces bucket under your account only; the site hands out short-lived signed links to you alone. On a free account, attachments you upload for an estimate are removed after 7 days. On a paid account, finished memes and their projects stay as long as the account does.

Processors. Making a meme sends the prompt, the source clip and your uploads to the AI and media services that do the work (Anthropic for planning and the agent, fal.ai for image and video models, ScrapeCreators and Apify for fetching public posts). Payments are handled by Polar, our merchant of record, which stores your billing details and issues receipts; we store the order id, amount and the credits it bought. Emails (login links, receipts, "your meme is ready") go through Resend.

Credits. Your credit ledger (purchases, holds, charges, refunds) is kept for as long as the account exists and is visible on your account page.

Deleting your account. The account page has a delete button. It removes your jobs, files, saved projects, uploads, credit history and sessions immediately; your email stays on a tombstone row so the address cannot be signed up again by mistake, and purchase records stay with Polar as the law requires. Email support@mememagic.app for anything else.

Takedowns. Rights holders can ask for removal of catalogued material at any time via the takedown page.
